Are there specific conditions or environments to avoid?

Reloaders should keep 3 things in mind when storing their brass casings. First and most importantly is safety. You need to keep your brass stored in a secured and locked location away for children or any other persons that you do not want access to ammunition. This especially goes for loaded rounds. Secondly, you need to keep your casings away from any moisture or humidity. This may corrode or weather your brass. Last is the temperature you keep your brass. Exposing your brass to very high then very low temperatures can distort or even crack your brass. This is very important in brass that has already been reloaded. A dramatic rise or drop in temperature can affect the powder in the casing as well as the casing itself.

What cleaning methods do you recommend?

We recommend using a soap that is specialized for cleaning brass casings and water solution. This is added to a vibrating cleaning machine. After the brass is cleaned it needs to be dried and polished. This is done by placing the brass in a rotating machine filled with polish and media. This makes the brass clean and ready to be reloaded.
